There are different buildings for accommodation and events, surrounded by terraces with stunning views, pergola with outdoor dining, barbecue, swimming pool and a vegetable garden and ecological farm available to our guests. Even though the property is somewhat remote, it is only 4 Km to the closest village of Baltanás, where shops and medical care can be found, and 30 Km to the city of Palencia.

Guest House: capacity for 3 persons (+2 extra)

It has 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, a full bathroom and a large open living area with a fully equiped kitchen, dining area, sitting room with a fireplace and large windows everywhere. On the terrace below the almond trees, there is a dining area with a barbecue.

Outdoor activities: We recommend a varied number of walking and biking routes amongst wheatfields in order to enjoy the Castilian countryside’s infinite horizons. The more sporty have all types of activities in the area: from horse riding, golf, Nordic Walking, mountain climbing, 4x4 or canoing. It is possible to sail down through the emblematic “Canal de Castilla” by kayak.

Bird Watching: In the nearby lakes and wetlands, bird lovers and ornithologists can observe throughout the year a huge variety of birds. Some of them can only be seen in Spain, such as White Storks (Ciconia ciconia) or come to see the spectacular “rueda” of Great Bustards (Otis Tarda).

Gastronomy: Foodies are welcome! Enjoy some unique gastro-experiences: wine, cheese, olive oil or Ibérico ham tastings. Or what about a tapas course for discovering spanish cuisine at its best?

Enology: In this wine-producing region between the Ribera del Duero, Cigales, Rueda and Arlanza, you can visit a great number of wineries, from medieval to contemporary ones designed by world-famous architects.

Castile and Leon offers an amazing array of cultural destinations, and specifically Palencia, with its Gothic Cathedral known as “The Unknown Beauty”. 

It is an excellent point of departure to explore the region’s extraordinary Historical and Artistic Heritage: from the Camino de Santiago, the Romanesque and Renaissance tours, to the most avant-garde Contemporary Art.

The region is a land of contrasts, with picturesque villages and magnificent churches, full of artictic treasures still preserved today, away from the main tourist routes, and waiting to be rediscovered.

You can visit the most important archeological site of the Roman Imperial period and its magnificent mosaiques; Spain’s oldest christian visigoth basilica; the remote locations chosen by Cistersians and Benedictines, with their wonderful cloisters; or follow the Baroque Organ route or that of the Mudéjar panelings, which only exists in Spain.
